Our new look!

Welcome to the new PreserveArkansas.org!
In order to strengthen our identity and differentiate ourselves from other institutions and organizations, we recently refreshed our image. While our official name is still “The Historic Preservation Alliance of Arkansas,” a new logo and a move away from “the Alliance” to “Preserve Arkansas” reflects the active role that we play in preserving the places that matter to Arkansas. Our new tagline, Restore, Redevelop, Revitalize, reflects the ways in which historic preservation impacts Arkansas communities.

Nominations are now accepted for the 2016 Arkansas Preservation Awards!

Nominations will be accepted in twelve distinct award categories. Individual awards will recognize leading craftspeople, homeowners, volunteers, and professionals for their work. Themed awards will salute outstanding education and advocacy initiatives, community programs, and dedicated stewardship. Project awards will honor the restoration and rehabilitation of buildings and sites and compatible design in historic areas.
